Munich Pride Month Guided Tours and Workshops

It’s Pride ya’ll and Munich is in it for the long haul! Two weeks of Pride events ranging from workshops over exhibitions to parties and of course the CSD Parade! Munich Pride has something in store for everyone.

Munich Pride 2023

CSD/ Munich Pride is a busy time in the city. The events are spread all over Munich, but of course most of it happens in the inner city, around Gärtnerplatz and Marienplatz.

Designing Signs

Come join a collaborative effort to create impactful posters and signs that express our political demands and statements for the PolitParade during Pride.

Whether you consider yourself creative or not artistically inclined, everyone s welcome to freely contribute their designs. This opportunity is open to individuals up to 27 years of age, providing an inclusive platform for all.

Magic Bar Tour 2023

An unforgettable evening awaits throughout the the neighbourhood with an exclusive coupon book. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Magic Bar Tour is making its long-awaited return.

Locations that are interested in participating are currentlly being sought out, making this upcoming event even more exciting. Registration can be done here.

PLAY-Gender

The Playground welcomes you on June 8th for an evening of gender exploration. Meet, dance, chat, dress up, and discover your drag persona. DJ Bimän will provide music while a talented DRAG makeup artist transforms you.

Enjoy costumes and books as you play with the idea of gender representation and performance.

Guided City Tour “Queer history in the Northern City Center”

Embark on a captivating journey with the “Queer History in the Northern City Center of Munich” city walk, expertly guided by the “Forum Queeres Archiv Munich.”

Discover the hidden stories of locations spanning from the northern edge of the Old Town to Marienplatz, shedding light on queer aspects that have largely faded from memory.

The aim is to unveil the pervasive presence of the LGBTIQ* community throughout the city’s rich history, ensuring their visibility and recognition.

FLINTA* DJ Workshop with BiMän


Join this workshop to gain a solid understanding of song structures, keys, and BPM, with the aim of mastering beatmatching and smooth transitions using CDJs.

As an exciting option, you’ll have the opportunity to record a 15-minute DJ set at the end of the day, showcasing your newly acquired skills to the fullest. You’ll leave with your own DJ set, accessible through a SoundCloud link, allowing you to share your mix with anyone you choose.

Guided Tours Exhibition “Flowers Forever”

Pride Special Guided Tour “Homosexuality in the Animal Kingdom”


Come and listen as the answer to questions regarding sexuality around the animal kingdom are disussed. Do gay or lesbian animals exist? Is that the correct terminology? How is it possible that same-sex sexual behaviour occurs in numerous species?

In celebration of the Pride season 2023, the Munich zoo Hellabrunn presents a special guided tour exploring this fascinating subject (available in German only). Registration will be open from mid-May through the website.
